Happy b-day Conner

Saturday was Conner's 5TH B-DAY!!! We had ordered his present online and it did not get here on time so we did not celebrate until Tuesday. I still can;t believe my baby is 5 time is FLYING!!! But I guess just this year we had a baby and moved TWICE so it's not surprising that time is flying by!

 He got a power wheel Mustang for his b-day

 and he was very happy about it.....thank you for every one's contribution :) he took a ride in it and then he came back and told his dad "daddy you shouldn't buy me expensive things" sweet little man

 checking under the hood.....ohhhh and YES it's still shorts and t-shirt kind of weather :))))))))

 up and down the street and if he saw a kid he would stop and tell them "it's my birthday"

 He was very nice and let Ethan take turns driving!!! Ethan has gotten really good at it....in the beginning we were afraid he was going to take out every mail box but he is a pro now!!

 For supper he requested chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob!

 And our neighbors came over for dinner and some cake.

 LOVES to swing.....I should get him one to put on our play set he would love that. This was at the park!!!

 Ethan was napping so Conner gave Christopher rides in the car.....he LOVED It!!!

 

Yesterday afternoon was a rainy day so before Neal left for work he blew up their jumpy thing. We have not had this out since last winter. They are having lots of fun with it. 

Last night after I got Chris to bed about 5:15 (grrrr can't get him to stay up later without him being nightmarish) I decided to get back to painting. I turned on a video for Conner and Ethan and when I came back up a little while later with some snack for them this is what I found :) they made themselves a little bed to watch from!!!! 

SO I attempted painting the crown molding and the window trim on the 2nd floor of the foyer. I got the ladder all set up and all my things ready but I barely made up half the ladder. I'm a little scared of heights and I was getting dizzy so decided to leave that part for Neal to do. I did finish the laundry room door and trim around that and started on the actual kitchen trim work. I got a lot done last night and might be able to finish up the trim work today then I could start patching the walls and getting them ready for paint :)))
