Soooo tired....

Not sure why but I'm just so tired today. Maybe because I did not have enough time to finish my coffee this morning. I did get a few more projects done around here and went for a LONG run and stopped by the park with the kids. Ethan has been wanting to nurse every 1-2 hours during the day these days but sleeps about 10 hours during the night. I need to start thinking about finding ANOTHER pediatrician. I need to get him in for his 3 month appointment.

Neal is working pretty much every day for the next two weeks. I think that he only has one day off this Wednesday. He's going to Madison Monday to help with some assessments at a store there.

Tomorrow I'm heading to Rockford for Madzia's soccer game and to take their team pictures. I need to stop by and check on my dad too and see how he is coping without my mom if he has food and all that....hehe. My mama comes back from Poland on Tuesday. My dads aunt died while my mom was there so she was at 2 funerals.

I doubt that my dad can read this and he has no idea this is hapening but my niece (my brothers ONLY daughter) is coming to the states in less then a month now. I'm so excited...can't wait to see her and get to know her a little. The last time I saw her she was 6 or 7.

I willllllll NOOOOOTTTTT......

step on the scale for a week straight.

Pictures to come....

I finally ordered some canvas today....can't wait for it to get here so that i can paint pictures for the kids rooms : )

Why boys need parents.....

I JUST HAD TO SHARE THIS.....TOOOOOOO FUNNY!!!

Kids are napping.....

and mama's snaking.....mmmm that was good. Dark chocolate pudding snack with fresh strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and home made vanilla whipped cream.

I could not decide what I wanted to do this morning but I knew I wanted to get out of the house for a little while. We ended up going to Target to see Neal and then to JoAnne Fabric. For the first time since we have had kids I noticed the look that people gave me. Ethan was screaming and Conner was CRANKY and attempting to kick everything in his way and people were giving me the look. I ended up having to go and nurse Ethan out in the car and bribe Conner with some treats so that I could go back in the store. I drove 25 minutes to go there I was not about to leave without getting what I had gone there for in the first place. So after listening to crying and whining all morning long I deserve this little snack and only 120 calories or so : )

This is why I wanted to go to the fabric store. Still working on my picture frames....I found this pretty remnant of fabric for only $2.00....it matches our bedroom colors perfectly and it's really pretty I thought. SADLY it's been almost 4 years since we have been to Hawaii and for the FIRST time I actually have some pictures up of that trip. Ocean scenes never get old though ; )

Ethan and toys....

Just chillin!!!
Conner could have cared less about any toys till he was about a year old. Ethan on the other hand LOVES to look at his mobile and is interested in the bright colors of toys and sounds, lights, things like that. It amazes me how different they are.

Brotherly LOVE....

A little hug!!!
You ok little brother?!?!?!
Watching the lion king all ready for bed!!!
Conner and his huge blue eyes...super sweet. Conner is FINALLY starting to warm up to his baby brother....it only took 2 1/2 months!!! We will see how long this will last.
Ethan was very sleepy and ready for bed. It got to be a little past his bed time because I took the kids for a run and stopped at the park then Conner wanted to color with chalk and it got to be a little late when we finally made it home. He still enjoyed being held by his big brother!!!

Old into new!!!

I have been busy lately getting the kids rooms all set up and getting all my OLD picture frames out and decorative things that have been put away since we lived in Vesper. I have not taken them out since then because it seemed so pointless knowing I would have to put them away again soon with all the moving we have been doing. They have gotten so scratched up in boxes and some have chipped others have broken. I LOVE what a little spray paint and decorative paper can do....now I need to actually develop some of the million pictures that I take to put into those frames : )

Some days!!!

I knew it was waaaaaaayyyyyy too quiet for way too long : ) A WHOLE roll of toilet paper in the toilet!!! Mommy stinkies he tells me!!!

Memorial Day!!!

We had a great Memorial Day weekend. Neal was off so that was great...we relaxed played and ate good food...can't ask for anything better than that. He was out within 3 minutes of driving. NO EXCIDENTS all day long either. I was so woried that I would be back to square one with potty training if we went anywhere...he did good.

Remembering G'ma....

Ula (my sister) and Steve got a tree for their front yard and planted it yesterday!!!
Madzia (my sisters oldest daughter) got a rock and wrote this on it and put it under the tree for her great G'ma. Very sweet!!!! G'ma Boho was the last g'parent that we had living!!!
This is our Grandmother!!! This picture was taken some years ago now when she was visiting the states. Madzia was probably 3 and Katie would have been 1!!!

My G'ma passed away this morning!!! I have been trying to remember any moments that I have spent with her. She was a very strong and wonderful woman from what I remember. I'm always reminded of her warm smile and gentle touch when I look at my mom. In many ways they are a lot alike. She wore each wrinkle with pride and joy and she warmed my heart in so many ways when I was a little girl. The one time that I do remember well was when we went to visit them right before G'pa died. I would have been 8 or 9 then. We brought them a jasmine plant. Years later it stood on their window growing and taking over their entire window. She was so proud of that plant!!! I wonder if it's still there : ) She was the one to get me hooked on french toast. I remember that now....she made it for me when we were visiting once and that was it for me. I LOVE french toast to this day!!! I use to love her garden because she always had sweet peas and I LOVE sweet peas. I wish I had a picture, I know my sister has a great one of her maybe I can post it later.

My mom leaves for Poland tomorrow afternoon so that she can be there for the funeral. I hope she has a safe trip.

Here we go again....

I'm trying this again....BUT he might just wear diapers till he's 18!!!

pretty flower trees by our front door....

These rocks I don't like. Mostly because every time we leave and come home Conner has to go and throw them. Drives me nuts....and of course not even a spanking gets him to stop.
