Conner's Dr. appointment!!!

We went to see the Dr. yesterday about Conner's throwing up and eating habits and of course I was just being a worry wart. He is fine and doing well....he's just a little pea nut and a fussy eater : ) but at least mama feels better now. He's only on the 3rd percentile for weight but growing at a steady pace and 25th for his height. He had a test done at 6 months to see weather or not he was absorbing food then because that is when he dropped of and actually lost weight and those tests came back ok so we wont repeat them again for now.

Sunday mornings!!!

On Sunday mornings when Conner is up nice and early, after breakfast and bath time we like to snuggle up in bed and read books till it's time to go to meeting.

Still LOVES his cars!!!

He still loves to line up his cars...and has to make sure that they are all nice and straight and all facing the same way. What is it with boys and lining things up?!?!

Productive morning!!!

Way to go me!!! I went through all my pictures this morning and organized them by month then by category now all I have left is to label them. I wish that I would just do this as I load them on the computer but I'm not so good at doing that. I also went through all my e-mail and saved any pictures I may have received there and sorted through the mail. All I need to do now is to save the pictures to a disk and put it in a safe place...the challenging part is remembering where I put the disk when I actually need it.

Conner is doing all better but we are still going to see the Dr. as soon as I am able to get him in, maybe even this afternoon, still waiting to hear from the clinic!!! When I put him on the scale this morning he actually lost some weight which to me is scary at this age. We will see what's going on or what I need to do to get this little guy to put on some weight and avoid these throwing up episodes.

First flutters of life!!

For a couple weeks now I have been almost sure that I have felt the baby move but have convinced myself that it has been too early to feel anything yet. Today I am no longer doubting myself...the little flutters are there for sure : )

Sick AGAIN!!!

Poor Conner...he would not let me hold him he would just find a spot and lay down for a little bit then try and get up and play again!! What a little trooper!!

Well Conner is at it again...throwing up all morning long. I don't know what's going on with this little guy if it's just a bug again or if it's something else. He seems ok now and is keeping liquids down and playing with his cars. He has a little fever too, I think that on Monday I might just take him in. Maybe it's somehow related to his eating and not eating and him not putting on any weight. For my own peace of mind I better just take him in. Neal, as usual, thinks that he is just fine and he's probably right but I'm just being a worry wart that's all.

What a night I've had...our whole apartment complex was one big party ALLLLLLL night long. At 1:00 AM I finally gave up trying to sleep and just read my book with Conner next to me because he was waking up every little while because of the noise and probably because he was not feeling well then starting 4:00 this morning the throwing up began. I'm beat but finally showered and clean and I changed all the sheets and now I think I may try and go do something with Conner maybe being out in the sunshine and outdoors will help to take his mind off not feeling so well. Nancy just called too and found a jogging stroller at a garage sale for $40 so I might go and check it out. I would like a double one and this is just a single but I'll go take a look anyway!!!

GRRRRRR!!!

My child is really getting to me today...concern is the first thing that comes to mind frustration is the other. He will NOT eat!!! I think I may have to make an appointment and take him in because this is just outrageous. He has only had one cheese stick today since 5:00 AM and not much to drink either and it's after 3:00 PM. I would not be that worried if he ate a little more yesterday but it was the same story....barely anything all day long!!!! He seems ok, a little more cranky but I would be too if I didn't eat. GGGGGGRRRRRR...what to do?!?!?

GRRRRRR...I burnt the crust. Our stove has a tendency to burn everything on the bottom so I can't make cookies because they burn on the bottom but are gewey on top : ( Pretty frustrating...the service man came out to look at it but told me "lady, maybe you just need to cook on the top rack" yeah nice huh. Unfortunately I can't blame this mishap on the stove I took the foil off too soon but I'm sure it will still taste yummy.

We took a trip to Rockford this weekend it was the 1st time since April that we have been back and it was nice to be able to make the trip and get out of the apartment. Unfortunately I did not get very many good pictures...almost all of them turned out blurry...grrr. I need a new camera!!!

New shoes!!!

Loves his new shoes apparently hates pants and socks. When I tell him he does not need his shoes he just goes and puts them on on his own...little stinker.

Check out those chicken legs...he's still only 21 lbs and has been since he was 12 months. I'm dreading his 24 month appointment...the dr. will probably think I'm starving the little guy. He's still a very picky eater and prefers fruits and veggies and not much else. This past week he's only been wanting breakfast and wont eat much else the rest of the day...makes his mommy worry!!!

Potty training continued...

Well this potty training is much harder than I anticipated...although Conner is doing quite well mommy is tired ALREADY of spending so much time in the bathroom. He really is doing well though stays dry all night and through his naps but still has a couple accidents during the day. I have not been able to catch a poopy one yet though so wish me luck....I'm a determined mama here. I can't wait till the day he comes running to me and tells me he needs to go potty...all the hard work will be worth it and all before he's 2....yay ; ) It's funny how once you become a parent all these little milestones become the highlight of your day...what did I ever get excited about before Conner?!?!?

Conner went on the big boy toilet today for the first time. That's pretty awesome if you ask me!!! We will see how he does tomorrow : )
