Peace and quiet...

So nice when the kids are napping and the house is nice and quiet. No matter how tired I am I refuse to take a nap these days. I enjoy these quiet times when the kids are sleeping it keeps me sane. Ethan has been sleeping so well at night that I am a little amazed especially remembering my nights with Conner!!! His first stretch is about 5 hours then he sleeps for 3 more and wants to eat then 2 more and he wakes up again to eat. Not bad!!! Conner was up for hours during the night fussing away.

Conner has been taking good naps these days though which has been nice. It's always been a battle trying to get him to take a nap but lately all I have to do is read him a book and then he points to the door for me to leave. GO MOM!!! It's actually very cute but sad at the same time...my baby is growing up. He's been such a good little boy lately that it truly amazes me sometimes. He has his moments when he reminds me that he is still a 2 year old. This morning he slipped out of bed before I woke up and went into Ethan's room. A little visual...Ethan has no furniture yet and his room consists of bins full of clothes and misc. things that I have not unpacked yet. Well Conner decided to open all the bins and pull all the clothes out and throw them all over the room...sigh!!! I still have not organized them...just closed the bedroom door...hehe!!! I know closing the door does not make it better...I will get to it this afternoon hopefully.

He's still not talking much and I'm not sure if I should be worried or not, just trying to be patient. He's a little more eger to try these days than he has been in the past which has been nice. I'm sure it will come when he is good and ready and then I wont be able to keep him quiet :)

Well better get to it...I think I've put it off long enough!!! I need to get exercising before the kids wake up....sigh!!!! I hate to diet and exercise. Can't they come up with a pill to make extra baby weight melt away.
