Perfection...for me......

I can't believe that it was in the 80's again today....I hope it lasts till Halloween!!! It would be nice to have warmer weather for trick-or-treating this year! I had quite the perfect day....for me :) Neal could not sleep this morning so he was up before the kids and he let me sleep in. Ahhhhhh perfect bliss.....I'm not sure if there is anything sweeter a husband can do for a stay at home mom than let you have a little breather. I slept till 8:30 I do not even remember the last time I was able to do that. Since I'm usually up between 5:00 and 6:30 this was quite the treat for me and since I got a late start my plans for the day were a little well changed. We did get out of the house by 10:00 though and as promised the previous day we headed for the beach along with a packed picnic.

Neal took them for a walk and down to the playground.....

And while they were on a walk and playing at the playground I parked my
butt under this pretty tree and watched the water and listened to
the waves and looked up and this pretty trees and all the other
beautifully colored trees around the beach....ahhhh perfection.

I think they missed this little bus they so much to love to play in....

We had out lunch and the then the kids got to do their FAVORITE thing in
the whole wide world....throw rocks into the lake and play in the sand!!!!

We came home from the beach and both kids slept for 4 HOURS!!!!! Neal went to work and I got to read a book and eat a BAG (no joke) of carrots and crunch as loud as I could with no one to annoy....ahh the simple pleasures. I did NOTHING the entire time they slept and when they woke up I cleaned the house and made supper and baths then did nothing else productive.....we all need days like this sometime :)
