One down tooo many more to go....

I finished the Dining Room.....I picked this room to do first because for some reason I thought it would be the easiest. Now that I am finished I'm convinced it was the hardest. It took a while a whole lot of paint and A LOT of taping and touching up but it's PERFECT and the result is fantastic. I went with a whole different color and I'm very glad I did it made a huge difference. The room is so happy and cheerful but also calming and feels SO MUCH bigger. I'm very happy with the result. Now I'm playing around with some ideas in my head for a picture I want to paint using that canvas Neal bought me for my b-day. I will finally be able to use it :)

It actually looks a little more yellow in the picture than it is but look at those perfectly straight lines. Makes me happy but now I just have to look at the rest of the house and this is what I see.....

This is after a good scrubbing and it's driving me NUTS.....patience.....one thing at a time :) this is what I keep telling myself!!!

I'm still feeling pretty miserable and plan on spending the rest of the day in bed. I have just a few more hours to kick this thing out of my system. Neal goes back to work tomorrow and him and the kids are all starting to show some signs of the same thing I got....ugghh. I will have a full house of sick guys to take care of so I need to feel better.
