I have the best hubby!!!
Neal went and picked me up Taco Bell (although he hates it himself) for lunch today because that was what I was craving although I had a perfectly yummy lunch all ready to cook...I'm still regrading it though it always makes me sick. We were all settled down to relax and watch a movie and I was craving something salty so he went to get me something salty and it's not in the kitchen cabinet : ) He had to get all dressed again and go...but did it without complaining...do I have the best hubby or what!!!

Little kicks!!!
Neal was able to feel the baby kick for the first time today...I'm half way there now and starting to feel the discomforts of pregnancy and getting HUGE!!! I'm feeling much better the last 2 weeks...not sure if the baby moved or something shifted because my hip and butt and leg have not been bothering me too much. I'm guessing that maybe the sciatic nerve is not being pressed as much by the baby for the time being : ) We have our ultrasound on Monday and I can't wait...getting very excited about that. The time seems to be flying by so fast for us...Neal has been super busy with work and sometimes I wish that he was not salary...we would be rich with all the extra hours that he puts in around this time of the year. The holidays will be over before we know it though!!!
We are once again faced with some difficult decisions with our house here in Eau Claire but that is life and no one said that it's easy it's just frustrating. It seems like every time we start to see the light at the end of the tunnel we get sucked back in but you go where the wind blows and try to do the best you can. It will sure be nice to be settled and a bit more secure though...something to look forward to I guess : )

Some randoms!!!
Polish Facebook!!!

So I have discovered something that has both me and my sister very excited...it's equivalent to Facebook but it's for Poland and I'm loving it. I have stayed in touch with only one childhood friend Kasia Homik and I was able to locate her again. I lost all her information about a year ago when both our computers crashed within days of each other. She is one of the most talented people I know and has really inspired me in the past so I'm hoping that we can stay in touch. I also found a few other people that I knew growing up and today I discovered my brothers daughter is also a member which is AWESOME...I do not even remember the last picture that I have seen of her as my brother and his wife are very busy and are not too much into all these gadgets but are rally trying to learn. So we are very excited...I love technology : )

I LOVE my hubby!!!
Yesterday we went to the mall of America and Ikea in Minnesota and Neal bought me a NEW camera...he's such a sweetie!!! We got the Nikon D60 but when we got home and tried it out and tested it again this morning we decided to spend a little more and get the D80 so this afternoon I went and exchanged it...and I LOVE it. I have a lot of learning to do and I'm thinking of taking the class that Best Buy offers. I guess that if you are going to spend that much money on a camera you mind as well learn to use it's features. Ugghhh I'm being blinded with flashes...hehe. Can't wait to go somewhere tomorrow with Conner and take some pictures...hopefully the weather will be nicer we had sleet today...yuckie.

Sick again!!!
Conner has been throwing up again all morning and is just not doing too well at all. If I can't get him to keep any liquids down he will be going in to see the dr. I'm having a really hard time handling it this morning as well...Neal finally went to sleep after a full night of work but he finally knows what I'm talking about when Conner gets sick...it's so hard to see them this way :( He's been at work every time this hapens!!! Trying to think about what we did differant yesterday and the only thing I could think of was that Conner and I went to McDonalds for breaakfast but he only had 2 or 3 bites of cinamon roll and then he played at the play area and then the rest of the day he did really well eating had homemade soup for lunch and then ham, potatoes and corn for supper with some snacks in between nothing out of the ordinary!!! He slept in till 8:30 this morning but woke up a lot at night crying the throwing up started at 5:30 or so and now he is just snuggled up next to me real close...I'm hoping that he falls a sleep and gets a bit more rest. He's not even keeping water down though so I'm woried. Poor baby : (

Sophisticated taste!!!
Some of you may know that Conner and I battle every day when we sit down to eat. He just does not want to eat anything I make him and I might have discovered today what the problem is. We went out to Applebees for supper today and I ordered my usuall steak and shrimp and mashed potatoes. I decided not to even bother with ordering anything for Conner because he never eats it. Well when the food finally arived with the baby growing inside me telling me feed me feed me mom...I decide to put my own needs aside and try to feed Conner some of the delicious food sitting in front of me and to my surprise Conner ate half my my steak and potatoes and a full skewer of shrimp, needless to say I left the restaurant hungry. In conclusion I feel that I need to make Conner shrimp and steak for supper and he would be satisfied...ohh yeah the funny thing is that he would not eat the potatoes unless there was some steak or shrimp right along with it. Such sophisticated taste our child has : )

Go to your room!!!
Conner has been throwing these fits lately and when he does he has to go to his room for a little while...well now even when I tell him NO or if he is crying he goes to his room and closes the door!!! It's kinda funny because when Neal was little he used to do the same thing : )
Little monkey and his books!!!

Haircut disaster : (
I finally decided that I have put it off long enough and that Conner needed his hair cut again. I hate to do it but he really needed one...poor kid just hates them. He screamed and screamed and I just could not finish it off so it's quite uneven and raggedy looking and much worst than before
: ( I've been trying to trim it up while he is sleeping but he keeps waking up so I have to do a little at a time but I'm not even sure if I can get it even enough with the scissors. I might just have to try again tomorrow with the trimmer...sigh. I hate to make him cry like that : ( Hurts mommy even more than it hurts him.

Sigh....
Today was a waste of a beautiful day. My plan was to enjoy the outdoors with Conner but he had a plan of his own. We went to get some more apples...go figure...we eat a lot of those around here especially this time of the year when they are so fresh from the orchards. Then I was going to take Conner for a hike and to the park but he wanted me to carry him the entire time so I told him we are going home!!!! He fell a sleep about 10 minutes before we got home and woke up when I was trying to get him in the house and decided that a 10 minute nap was all he needed today...I even gave in for the FIRST time since we took his plug away and gave it to him in hopes of him taking a nap but he just spit it out...haha...that was pretty funny. He's like MOM what are you doing giving me this thing...I'm not a baby : ) So we wasted the day away!!!
Grandpa...Grandpa!!!

Neal and I can't seem to be able to get Grandpa out of our heads. He sure is making us worry and the waiting game is just the worst. We wish that there was something we could do or be closer but I guess all we can do right now is pray for him and grandma. I guess the next couple days will tell us more but things are looking a bit more hopeful!!!

Grandpa!!!
Going to see the horses!!!
Conner, Sasha and I went to see Joy today and her 12 horses with hopes of riding their oldest horse whose name I can't seem to remember at the moment. Conner sees them every Sunday but is still a bit scared of them. Hopefully next week we can actually go riding. The "orsies" are so pretty and nice and usually very friendly and LOVE carrots.

1st day of October!!!

Hard to believe but October is here!!! Before we know it we will be moving again and with a brand new baby!!! Time is really flying for us these days and it seems to go by quicker every day. Neal's crazy schedule is starting as well and from now on out 14 hour shifts will be more of a norm for him...sigh...it only lasts for a few months though. Conner will be 2 soon which seems so hard to believe. It seems like just yesterday he was still cooking in my belly and now he's looking to cook up some trouble. He has defiantly entered the terrible two's stage and tests me every chance he gets. He never was a snugly baby and is very independent in many ways...has to do everything on his own with mom watching close by, feed himself, drink from a GLASS not sippie cup or he gets mad, by himself, walk up and down the stairs on his own. He is affectionate in his own little ways but prefers to keep his distance unless he's jumping on you and being silly or needs something that he can't do or get on his own. In some ways I guess it's nice but it's scary at times as well. Can't believe how quickly he's growing up. He's still not talking much but surprises us every day with his little accomplishments...all in his own time I guess. Potty training went to the back burner, with convention we took some steps backwards which is normal I guess and with our trip to Rockford next week I might just not push the issue till we get back. We are trying to enjoy the weather every chance we get...with days getting shorter and the nights so cold already there is no telling when we wont want to stick our noses outside. We went to get some apples again today as the Honeycrisp's are now ready in our area and those are MY FAVORITE...both the kiddos had fun and Conner LOVED all the pumpkins that they had out.
The little girl that I watch, Sasha, has truly amazed me lately. She is just SO well behaved and never cries and plays on her own and I kept on thinking to myself...WOW Conner was a really really cranky little boy. I have always had to be right there for him and hold him all the time...he would play on his own I guess but I had to be right there watching him otherwise he would cry and whine!!! He is still like that independent but all of my attention has to be on him. For example...when I'm on the computer he squeezes in between me and the screen and when he knows he has my attention he goes and plays again....reading a book...if for a second I turn away from the book he grabs my face with his two little hands and turns my head back to the book...yeah. So finally today I asked Kristy, Sasha's Mom, if she behaves as well for her....WELL I guess she DOES NOT AT ALL. She can hardly get her to sleep for a nap or at night...she has to hold her all the time and has been worried about leaving her here because of how she has been behaving with her...funny how that works but I won't complain and will just enjoy this great stage that she is in now...Conner keeps me pretty busy anyway : )
